As you can see from the above pictures, Arizona is a very beautiful place to live. The best time to enjoy the cactus flowers is in April and May but some bloom all year round. The wildlife keeps us entertained. Right now there is an abundance of deer, many of whom hang out in our back yard.
I’ve designed this website to highlight my personal life as well as my professional life.
My passion is computers! The industry is constantly changing, so keeping up to date is a challenge. I use Windows 7. Now that I’m used to Windows 7, Microsoft will be coming out with Windows 8 – and I understand this will be a major change, like from Windows 3.1 to Windows 95. I just learned how to develop my own blog (website) with WordPress, and this is the result. WordPress offers free blogging software (WordPress.com is best for beginners, WordPress.org is designed more for experienced computer users). Feel free to comment on any page.
My interest in computers began in approximately 1985 when I purchased my first computer, an Apple 2 Plus. That first computer had no hard drive, just two 5-1/4″ floppy drives. The memory was a whopping 48K of RAM (current computers average 1 GB of RAM today, or a million times as much!)
I began helping friends and family with computers back in the 80s and early 90s. In the 1990s, I branched out and started helping neighbors in SaddleBrooke, AZ. To date I have helped over 300 residents there with computer issues and instruction. This past year, I started to assist Vail Valley residents as well with their computer needs.
My approach to personalized computer instruction is one-to-one in my client’s home, and I cover software as well as hardware issues.
